Sweet .... !!! Spoonflower have just announced a new Fabric option "Silk" : scheduled to be available from September 30.
I can't wait to order some (and deciding which pattern to order will be fun too ;) ... I'll be sure to post an update here on the blog, as soon as my first sample arrives :)

Silk Crepe de Chine : 100% silk
- 42" wide printable area (107 cm)
- 2.9 oz per linear yard
- Pure white, printed on one side
- Appropriate for dresses, blouses, pajamas, lingerie, lining
- Estimated shrinkage 3%.
- Wash instructions: Dry clean
- Launch date: September 30, 2010
